Dear African GYACers and all,

Hope each of you had a safe trip back home after these three days of hard job that we've got in Nairobi.

If so, glory be to God.

This is the occasion for me to thank all of you who have shown confidence in me and invest me as the African representative in the network "Global Coordinating Board". I really appreciate all of you and just say the hard part of it is now.

I call for all you to be part of it as I'm just to take you suggestions up there. Inovation, Participation and transparency would be the guiding principles in our work in Africa and we have to change something.

Thank you very much and hope to hear from each you.

Best regards.

Hi Gabi,

As you are representing Africa on the GCB you are to work on behave of Africa and the rest of the network.Nairobi produced a great guiding documents and I hope we can start from there. My doors are always open to you.

Regards

I am Liberian and a  registered member of the network. I am schooling in Nairobi and, how can I be a part of the Global Coordinating Board?

Such, i also hope all have a safe trip home. off course the way forward for Arfica is to set up a continental action plan and to build on the african conference we stated to discussed when pauline was africa representative.

We also need regional coodinators that will mand the affairs of west africa, east africa, north africa and south africa. that was not done in kenya as proposed because of time. never minf that we can still have that for our own continent in consoltation with all african in the network.

As Simeon, wrote, the guiding principle is just a frame work for the GCB to build on and articulate on our behalf as a network.

Dear Gambi.

Thanks for keeping in touch and trust all is going on well at your end. I had earlier suggested that we use a Yahoo email group for this discussion also instead of this public portal as it where, since this is quite open but we can proceed and when details need to be fit in we use the yahoo mailing group.

I would suggest you get the email of every african delegate at the conference and do a personal mail on what you have in mind then we can begin to make input.

The next step is to also set up the Regional Cordinators that would assist you in your plan for the one year you would serve from East, West , I will add Central Africa, North and South Africa.

Let us then see how far Like Wurie sugested we can work on a Regional onference during December to mark the Intl Anti-corruption day or somehting lke that.

I have great confidence in your work and representation, I do not have any doubts whatsoever that Africa will benefit immensely from a proven leader like you.

Looking further to a great time ahead as our GCB represntative.

1. fixted up Regional Coordinators
2. set up yahoo mailing group for African Delegates
3. Africa Regional Conference
4. Africa Plan of Action ( that captures all GYAC Countries prograames plan of Action)

hope to read from you... Let make it work this time arround.
