Biography
As a Tunisian national, I know that my country has always had strong ties with MENA region, and that was even stronger after the “Arab spring». I have also experienced how important to have permanent and reliable government when it comes to ensure one’s nation.
In fact, I had my first encounter with the world of civil society organization and active citizenship to make the positive change happen, was when I have become a JCI member, during the training sessions that we had, I came to know that communication skills, transparency, and conflict solving methodologies are key elements in maintaining the sensitive connections between people from all over the world. Thus, a democratic transition as well as an establishment of popular consciousness can be done. Currently, we are working to establish transparency into NGO’s in an action called “open gov"
In addition, my participation in the TIMUN (TUNISIAN INTERNATIONAL MODEL OF UNITED NATIONS) as the delegate of Sudan in the DISEC committee and a chairwoman for the sustainable development council, has allowed me to go beyond the limits of the usual deals and negotiations to solve primary matters on the world level.
This late summer, I had the chance to be an exchange participant with AIESEC and had an internship as French and English at an international school In India. What I learned through this experience is how to be able to share, handle and live in most unusual situations had the opportunity to meet interns and persons from all around the globe with different culture, we talked about their countries, political systems, lives and what we aspire to be and to do for a better future.
Last but not the least, my participation in The Arab Affiliated Network for Social Accountability workshop in Tunisia, Then its launch in Morocco held in march made me realize how strong we could be as Arab nations when we work hand in hand for anchoring the principal of social accountability and guaranteeing easy access to information in the Arab world as a basis for better governance and fight against corruption.
Finally ,I ‘am a fellow in the program “young leaders” made by search for common ground which is about training young leaders about the concept of local governance in order to make the positive change happen and develop their awareness about social accountability .
