Kenneth Nana Amoateng strongly believes in volunteerism as a way to help society implement change. He is enthusiastic about creating a global community of young people who are ready to work professionally and passionately to solve sustainable development challenges all over the world. He has extensive experience working with a wide range of school children, youth, university students’ movements and local communities on conservation issues. His volunteer work has included teaching orphans in a children’s home, organizing and coordinating youth events, joining young people in tree planting, clean ups and demonstrations, talking to media, blogging among many others. He has been involved in a number of regional, national and international advocacy campaigns. In my view and belief in social justice and better livelihoods, he actively engaged in the campaign for human rights, Democracy, trade justice, Peace, climate, youth employment and sanitation.
