AFRICAN LEADERS AND CORRUPTION

It is common knowledge that Africa has been rendered a fail continent by her leaders, despite immense resources it carries. Poor governance has been our greatest undoing. Part of the problem eminates from the governed since we tend to glorify those in power in total disregard of their actions. We tend to look at other things that connect us to the corrupt leaders key among them being: tribe, religion, race etc. In as long as the corrupt leader is one of our own other things can wait since it is perceived to be our time to eat. It is this kind of attitude that has brought about few millionaires amongst us and many poverty stricken communities. Africans should wake up and reverse this trend.
