Eschew this Human Influenza

 

      This influenza called Corruption has brought in drastic wind of change ravaging North African countries and the Middle East. The devastating effect of the influenza is incredibly unbelievable as it is disastrous. This is the result of high handedness in leadership. This destroys the very fabric of a nation's co-existence. It is anti progressive as it is virulent in all its ramifications.

    

     Incidentally, there is another kind of virus, when not matured is known as “INTRIGUE” or what I call “MANIPULATIVE CORRUPTION”. This is corruption in its infancy. In this situation, those in authority tend to oppress or deny their juniors in office. They issue guidelines and instructions that are counter productive only to justify and boost their ego in the workplace. This oppression takes different shapes and sizes in the name of wait-for-your-turn theory. This is corruption, practiced, manipulated and gradually entrenched in the system. When this happens, what goes behind the scene is better imagined than explained. This form of corruption being nurtured in the cocoon rears it ugly head in all facets of the society which when hatched is seen as full blown Corruption with all its attendant evils and retrogressions.

           I use this medium to lend a voice to the International Community, all GYACers on the need to formulate and strengthen institutions  dealing with Corruption.
