Hello everyone.
As you all know in this network, it is henceforth obvious that we can't fight Corruption in a country without implicating the youth into the process as young men are corrupted, their are corrupting, they are the most affected by corruption effects and are great ressources in the fight.
Cameroon government has understood this and in the ongoing process of the elaboration of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy in Cameroon, youth sector among others constitutes one of the priority sectors targeted by the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
Through this strategy, The youth in Cameroon is now fully part of the fight against this social illness as the document shows out the diagnostic of corruption in youth sector and how youths are affected. Further more it highlights differents strategic axes to fight Corruption in the youth sector and how to integrate youths as strategic actors and partners of this fight against corruption in Camerron.
Youth leaders in cameroon should rely on this document to undertake any Anti-Corruption initiatives in country and youth colleagues out there can use the document as an inspiration source.
The government is to validate the document in October 2011, and the final copy will be available.
Together, against Corruption

Comment by Wurie Mamadu Tamba Barrie on September 27, 2011 at 11:27am Thanks for the post. I want to use this post to inform you that... GYAC Sierra Leone is pushing very hard to optimise the propose conference, we will be having a meeting today among coordinating members to agree on the lead organisations, inputting on the budget agreed by the Anti Corruption Commission and areas of responsibility to other coordinating members to take the lead.
Since, the communication of GYAC Sierra Leone activities plan 2011-2012 and the proposal for the national youth anti corruption conference and the one million signature collection campaign no word had been received by WBI or Global Coordinating Bodies.
Direction from WBI and GCB are needed in hosting such an event as huddles and constrains are always present.
We are doing our best to raise the profile of the Network in Sierra Leone.
Thanks
Barrie
